Modsecurity not working with Custombuild

I opened a new thread just in case somebody has anything to say.

I have now built Modsecurity for nginx several times and what happens is that my 2GB VPS runs out of memory when Custombuild tries tor start nginx after building it. Nginx eats all available memory and the problem can only be solved by removing the modsecurity extension from the config. I am not the only one, here is a report with exactly the same problems.

I have successfully compiled and installed mod_security/nginx in a low-end non-DA test server (512MB) and run several tests without any memory problems so there must be something weird going on with the Custombuild process. I am running Centos 7 and PHP 7.1.

letsencrypt.sh request `hostname`

With Let's Encrypt you can generate a free SSL certificate for your whole server: SMTP, POP3, IMAP, FTP, the webserver(s) and DirectAdmin is covered by this. First, you need to have Let's Encrypt enabled. Secondly, this only works for the server hostname.

Navigate to the directory:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
Request the certificate:
sh letsencrypt request serveame.yourwebhoster.eu
Make sure that the following services are restarted, if installed:
apache
exim
dovecot
proftpd
pureftpd
nginx
DirectAdmin will take care of regenerating the Let's Encrypt certificate

add notes field to database-create and overview

Please add a "notes"-field to /CMD_DB_CREATE and /CMD_DB

I hereby request too add a "notes"-field to provide more detailed info about a given database.

This may be interresting for severals since mysql has a limit to create db-users and db-names over a certain string-length (16?). Given useames around 10 chars this creates certain limitations.

Additional custom info (notes) would mitigate this limit insomeway

Security headers for web apps

I would like to suggest to enable the following headers by default for web apps (roundcube etc);

Code:

X-XSS-Protection "1; mode=block"
X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN
X-Content-Type-Options: "nosniff"
Referrer-Policy to none
For example in nginx webapps_settings.conf.

The referrer policy.. For obvious reasons

stat(/etc/virtual/domain.com/passwd) failed
